So this was another live event that happened on Saturday, this time featuring Masayoshi Minoshima (Alstroemeria Records) as well as hiro.na (Syrufit). There’s also a very, very lengthy Q&A session after it, with mican* and redalice appearing via skype.

Magicka is a dungeon crawler that was released recently on Steam. I’ve played through quite a fair bit, and aside from some crashing issues(which are supposed to be fixed soon) it’s quite a good game. The central hook of the game is the spellcasting system, which lets you combine eight elements for different effects. There’s also a co-op mode, where up to four players play through a campaign or survival mode together, but I haven’t been able to play that.

ShibayanRecords is a circle that has a very distinct, electronic sound to it. It’s one of those rare circles where I can almost instantly pick out a track done by them just by hearing it. Their style is heavily influenced by Justice, and it has a very synthesized, distorted sound. One key difference from Justice though is that Shibayan incorporates more vocals into their songs, while retaining the electronic house feel.

Whoops. Sure screwed up the previous versions pretty badly with my translation. You probably shouldn’t play BEEFix2, B21Fix, B21 or B20Fix3 in English. This version fixes all the mistakes I found in the previous translations(B20Fix3 onwards), and should work well. Quest text is fully translated now as well, along with 1/5 of the buffs.

This is a nice, soothing album containing lots of piano and jazz arranges. I’m not too familiar with this circle, but looking at the album scans tells me that the two main arrangers are NAGI☆ and Maurits’禅’Cornelis. I haven’t heard Maurits before, but NAGI produces pretty good piano arranges, one of which was used in THBosses as the ending credits theme. Good stuff.

This version has quite a number of balance changes over the last one, and two new skills were added. And no, I don’t know why the version number is EE instead of 22.

This is an interesting album by a relatively new circle, electronic and vocal arranges. The history of the main arranger for this album is actually rather interesting – he has released albums under a different name in the past, ⑨いんてっと, which means ⑨intet. This time the circle itself is named Quintet, while his arranger credit is Solaris. I don’t much like the choice to change his name to that, because Solaris is a very common name for bands and it screws up last.fm metrics.

This is a more stable version of the previous release, with only bug fixes done. It’s actually playable and doesn’t have game-breaking bugs/crashes.
