Featuring kanabun as the sole arranger, this album features a wonderful quartet of Electronica tracks with a very relaxed overall feel. It’s quite similar to Loop of Summer, and it’s definitely worth listening to if you’re a fan of electronic music.

Continuing in the fine tradition of celebrating April Fools’ day by not actually doing so, here’s another album review! This is Sally’s Sadomasochism, a very rock-esque vocal oriented album featuring lots of interesting vocalists – if you don’t like listening to female vocals a lot, this album will be quite terrifying to you.

Better late than never, right? The past month I’ve been searching for more gems from C81 to review, while also taking the time to review a few older releases that I’ve been putting off for quite a bit.

A full-length trance/progressive house by a brand new circle! The name syatten isn’t one that’s familiar to alot of people, but that doesn’t mean you should give this album a pass. If calming trance is your thing, give this album a try.

Another fairly short album, this time with lots of melancholic, experimental-style electronic stuff. Featuring kanabun, gray and CZK, it’s worth checking out if you enjoyed any of their previous works – if you didn’t, this album probably won’t appeal to you.
![[ShibayanRecords] À procura de felicidade](http://blog.midnightinsomnia.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/ShibayanRecords-A-procura-de-felicidade.jpg)
The Pursuit of Happiness – A very sweet and short album from Shibayan Records, with plenty of relaxing lounge/jazz-style music. Definitely not something you would expect Shibayan Records to produce, but here it is!

And it’s right back to the electronic bandwagon, this time with the wonderful Takuya Hori at the reins! If you don’t know about him, well, you’re missing out. Warning: Contains lots of progressive house/trance, come prepared.

It’s been quite a month! With Comiket 81 wrapping up there’s been a huge flood of new music, and it seems like new albums just keep popping up before all over the place. Of the four albums reviewed this month, three were C81 releases, all of which I thought were pretty excellent. But what do I think of them now?

For a change, here’s a rather lovely un-electronic album by both Syrufit and Pizuya’s Cell. Featuring plenty of soft, soothing piano and a nice range of vocals, this is definitely worth a look.

Syrufit’s C81 release, featuring both Poplica* and Syrufit as arrangers! Expect plenty of female vocals from the usual cast, with a very electronic feel overall.
