My current start up screen for Katawa Shoujo. You get one image for every chapter you begin.

Well hello there dearest people who read my articles, somehow I find myself here again. As usual it’s been forever since the last article but it’s a routine by now so let’s skip the apologies.
Today’s article will be on a rather popular visual novel that generated quite the fan base in the recent years so you might have already heard of it. It is a free work by Four Leaf Studios titled ‘Katawa Shoujo’, which more or less translates to ‘Disability Girls’.

Your favourite virtual diva in your galge now!

Well this was supposed to be up many moons ago but I thought introducing Vocaloid first would be a wise move.
Though I got lazy after that article and hence this being here now.
Will be a rather short article considering the time and I need to wake up by a certain time tomorrow.
So lets being shall we.

Hatsune Miku Append

If you give an instrument a voice, an identity and a personality, could it not be considered a musician as well? Introducing the World wide phenomenon known as Vocaloid – an instrument with a name and a human appearance that not only sings but is capable of dancing too!(Albeit with the help of another program.)

Image utterly unrelated

So I suspect that I am the last person to have read these but just in case there’s someone else…So here we go.

Alright not much to talk about this time so just a few things.
Firstly both works are supposed to be a sequel to the original Anime and End of Evangelion, not the four movie remake Rebirth of Evangelion.
Secondly one of them contains H and hence is NSFW. There’s a SFW version out there but well I’m too lazy to find it.

Summer comes, it gets hotter, it rains a bit, the fields are lush, the wind carries in the scent of greenery, I have a friend like Ken-chan with me... Nothing changes, but I'm happy with the way things are.

Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo is an eroge without branched out routes. Made by AKABEiSOFT2 as well, It is the predecessor of G-Senjou no Maou.

^Middle to right, they are going to kill you.

Firstly. Don’t ready your Witch hunting fire arrows yet. Today I’m here to recommend to you a really horrible VN. You would have probably heard of it already as an anime so if you liked it, read on. I liked the anime too. (Or did I…)

Title means 'The Devil on/of the G String.' Yes basically the Devil that resides on the G string of this particular Violin.

Alright before I begin, I must insist that you abide by this one rule.

If you get interested in reading this eroge at any part of this post, you must read this post to the end. Or rather read the end of this post.

So with that said let’s begin.

Planetarian ~Reverie of a little Planet, A Kinetic Visual Novel By Key

Looks like generic magical girl about to engage in combat with a giant tank yes? Well the truth is closer than you think…

I am pretty sure if you are even a little into visual novels, galges, eroges and the like, you would have at least heard of Key if not played their games.

Key is pretty well known for their Utsuges which literally mean “depressing/melancholy game.”

Now hold on. Yes indeed their VNs usually end up with heart wrenching side effects and virgin tears but that’s only because it’s always a masterpiece! (This is half true.)

So please read this to the end before deciding whether or not should you give it a try…Do it for the poor little robot if not for yourself….

Well then. Let’s get started on this review/recommendation. Read the rest of this entry »

Hope you enjoy it.

‘Then tell me. For what reason…would you risk your life?’ is the question Kinetic Visual Novel:Red Shift asks you-the reader. Created by a team of really nice people, Red Shift is a short Visual Novel free to download and read. With it’s size being around thirty megabytes, I wasn’t expecting much but it turned out really well. BGM isn’t aplenty but enough to keep it from being too repetitive. CGs are pretty well drawn as well.
